TRAVEL OPTIONS
La Millasserie can be accessed by car, train, or plane.
From Paris
By car: a five to six hour drive. By train: Three hours by TGV from Paris center or Paris CDG to Bordeaux St. Jean Station where all car rental agencies are available and a two hour drive from there. By train Paris-Bordeaux- Bergerac--about 4 hours--where all car rental agencies are available-- and a twenty minute drive from there to La Millasserie. By Plane to Bordeaux-Merignac airport.
From the US
By plane from the US to Paris Charles de Gaulle.One hour flight from Paris to the Merignac-Bordeaux airport where all car rental agencies are available.Or by train (You can get the TGV from CDG to Bordeaux-, change there for Bergerac.where all car rental agencies are available-- and a twenty minute drive from there to La Millasserie. From Bordeaux 2 hour drive to La Millasserie.
From the UK
By plane from several airports (London-Stanstead, London-Luton, London-Gatwick and more) which connect with daily flights on Ryanair and Flybe to nearby Bergerac airport, twenty-five minutes from La Millasserie. And flights from Netherlands and Ireland to Bergerac.
Driving
La Millasserie is just off D703 between Lalinde and Le Bugue, after the village of Sauvebeouf and before Pezuls. WE ARE NOT IN THE VILLAGE OF MAUZAC. Consult a map for d 703 and the towns and see our GPS coordinates on page 1 and /or print out the directions below.
From Bordeaux
Route D936 Direction Bergerac
From Bergerac D 660 direction Lalinde (SARLAT)
Pass through Cryesse, Mouleydier, Tulieres, Saint Capraise, Port de Couze. Make no turns off the highway. At Port de Couze continue straight on; do not cross the bridge.
D660 becomes D703 towards Lalinde.
At Lalinde do not cross the bridge. Continue straight and pass the church on your right and then the Intermarche on your left. Stay on D703. The road makes a sharp left bend barely 1 Km after Lalinde and you will cross the RR track. In another Km pass through Sauveboeuf. After Sauveboeuf continue for about 7 KMs. Do not turn off the road. DO NOT GO TO THE VILLAGE OF MAUZAC
Stay on D703 You will be prepared for our road by several S curve signs and then a X intersection sign and then our road which is on the right and appears quite suddenly around a sharp turn. It is marked by 3 white name panels: the top one of which says La Millasserie. Turn right and continue for a short distance; we are the first and only house on the left. Pull into the parking and walk across the courtyard and knock at the door of the main house.
From Perigueux—D 710 to Le Bugue From Le Bugue D703 direction Pezul/ Lalinde. Continue 8-10Km or so, pass through Pezuls. Continue on 703. In about 4 kms you will come to a right turn for Grand Castang. DO NOT TURN. Immediately after within a few feet is our road to the left. La Millasserie is the 1st house on the left as is Parking.
